Protective shoe for use with hand chain-saws

This shoe (1) protects against injuries when using hand chainsaws. It has a protective region, covering the flap (2), tongue (3) and toe regions. The toe has a safety cap of metal or plastic, which fully covers it. The novel construction has inner and outer shoe-upper layers (4, 6) in the flap and tongue region (3). The surface material (8), both layers (4, 6) and tongue (7) consist of chrome leather. Between upper material and inner lining (11) there is a layer of elastomeric plastic.
