Cable clip for baseplate of instrument

A clip to hold a cable on a wall, especially on the baseplate of an instrument in a car, has two spring arms (2,3) projecting out of the wall, leaving a slot beneath them. At least one arm has a bevelled face facing the wall and the ends of both arms have ribs(7,8) on the sides facing away from the wall to stiffen the curve that the ends have. The wall is a plastic moulding. The cable (4) is fitted below the arms and their undersides are given a coating to prevent the cable from slipping out.
