The dental-prosthesis-supporting structure comprises a set of standard prefab. components with pillars for fixing to the implants. Female connecting components (9a,9b) each have a head (12) containing a spherical chamber (13) and an extension (10). Passages (16,20) through the head lead to its lateral surfaces, and the extension has a cylindrical axial bore (11) from its end face. Male connecting components (6,7) each have a joint portion (7) at one end of the cylindrical shank and with a passage (8) through it at right angles to the shank. Screws (17) secure a male and/or female component to the pillar (1).
