PURPOSE: To eliminate the complication of regulating the position of signal output means and to prevent the erroneous discrimination of a board by measuring the time of supplying the cutout of a board to the output means, comparing the measured result with the passage time required to pass the cutout of the board through the output signal, and discriminating the cutout. CONSTITUTION: A conveying conveyor 11 and signal output means 12 are connected to a conveying controller 14a. A mounting position sensor corresponding to signal output means 16 is provided at the mounting position for mounting an electronic component on a board 13. An outlet sensor corresponding to signal output means 17 is provided at the outlet of the route 11. The OFF signal output time from the output means corresponding to the inlet sensor, the mounting position sensor and the outlet sensor is compared with the passage time t1 of the cutout 13a. Thus, since the cutout 13a can be discriminated, it is not necessary to dispose the output means 12, 16, 17 by avoiding the cutout 13a. |
