PURPOSE: To easily and efficiently store and re-edit an original image. CONSTITUTION: An original image is compressed and coded. In this case, no processing is conducted for the original image. Then contents of processing are expressed as data such as processing or edit of the original image and the data are coded. The original image and the content of processing are coded in pairs. The coded bit stream is recorded in an image recording medium or sent through communication. A decoder applies desired image processing depending on the content of processing. In the case of coding, since the original image is stored, no master tape is required and re-edit and re-processing are conducted easily. |
