PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence or photographic fog in an electronic development type recording medium and to control the exposure of this medium with a high precision. CONSTITUTION: A shutter 22 which opens/closes the optical path to an electronic development type recording medium 30 is provided in the front of this medium 30. Prephotometry is performed by a first photometric sensor 28 to calculate the shutter speed. If this calculated shutter speed is lower than a reference shutter speed, a voltage is applied to the electronic development type recording medium 30 and the shutter 22 is opened/closed in this state to expose the electronic development type recording medium 30. If it is higher than the reference shutter speed, the voltage applied to the electronic development type recording medium 30 is controlled with the shutter 22 open to expose the electronic development type recording medium 30. |
