The clamp comprises swivelable two-arm levers (4) which can be brought against a bearing part (4). Each lever has a jaw (3a) with a recess (6) for receiving a pipe-end. The levers have spreading arms closing on the pincer device (2). The pincer device has rollers (10) which can be used to swivel the pressing lever on contact surfaces (3c) of the enclosing arms. The contact surfaces are arc-shaped such that with increasing thrust of the rollers, the clamping force of the jaws remains constant or increases. The contact surfaces are convex and are formed in such a way that clamping force is constant over the entire thrust section of the rollers.
