PURPOSE: To provide a stand type luminaire in which the rotating operating force of a strut can be controlled from both lateral sides of the strut. CONSTITUTION: In this luminaire, the rotating operating force of a strut 22 is controlled by the fastening adjustment between a first adjusting handle 37 and a second adjusting handle 40 screwed thereto. A first engaging recessed part 45 and a second engaging recessed part 46 are independently provided on each outer surface of the first connecting wall 31a and second connecting wall 31b of a base 21, and a first engaging protruding part 47 and a second engaging protruding part 48 engaged with and disengaged from the recessed parts 45, 46 are independently provided on the first adjusting handle 37 and the second adjusting handle 40. The first engaging recessed part 47 has a gently tapered surface 47a on the fastening side of the first adjusting handle 37 and a sharply tapered surface 27b on the loosening side of the first adjusting handle 37. The second engaging recessed part 48 has a moderately tapered surface 48a on the fastening side of the second adjusting handle 40 and a sharply tapered surface 48b on the loosening side of the second adjusting handle 40, so that the rotating force can be controlled from both sides of the strut 22. |
