PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain synchronization between a master flight management computers(FMC) and a spare FMC by selecting the both FMC from the position of a control switch which decides a state. SOLUTION: A master flight management computer(FMC) 11 and a spare FMC 13 are connected with an FMC switch 15 which has each right position, left position, and automatic position, and the position is calculated by a master deciding program 41. When the switch 15 is at the automatic position, the defective state of the FMC is evaluated. At that time, when one is defective, the other is selected as the master FMC. Then, when the both are not abnormal, both the states are evaluated, and when both the states are satisfactory, one is selected as the master FMC according to a prelimiarily decided protocol. When one state is deteriorated, the other is selected as the master FMC. When new pilot input data are received by the master FMC, or when the previous input data are changed by the master FMC, the data are transmitted from the master FMC to the spare FMC so that synchronization can be maintained. |
