<p>It is known to provide packing tables including dispensers for packing materials. However, hitherto such tables have been fixed-height items. Thus, there are disadvantages when it is required to make large packages on the packing tables. The disclosure relates to a packing table (10) having a fixed-height work surface (14) and an adjustable-height work surface (44). The adjustable-height work surface (44) is adjustable by means of a linear actuator (46) that is controlled by suitable control switches (45). Preferred embodiments of the invention include a cushioning dunnage convertor (100) integral with the packing table (10) so that the dunnage outlet (86a) of the convertor (100) emerges between the fixed height and adjustable height surfaces of the packing table.</p> |
