Method for setting-up a cooling system

The process concerns the prodn. of a cooler, consisting of heat-resistant component(s) (I) of graphite, ceramics, metals with a m.pt. of over 1600 degrees C or composites of these and metal coolant pipe(s) (II) connected to (I). The process comprises bringing the molten metal of (II) into contact with (I) in the presence of gp. IVA and/or VA metal(s) (III) and then solidifying the metal of (II) in the required shape by cooling.
