A holding device, for securing a hose clip in position relative to a hose (5) to be connected to a pipe connection (3), has arranged around an axis (2) holding arms (1) which are rigidly connected by a connecting body (4 a ) and which radially inwardly each have a peripheral groove (12). All the grooves (12) are in the same transverse plane of the holding arms (1) and are of the same width as a band (13) of the clip for receiving same. For a hose clip in the form of a spring band clip with radially outwardly angled clamping jaws (7, 8), at the end portions there of with one end portion 8 having a peripheral slot 9 through which the other end portion 7 is passed, and a U-shaped clamp (10) which holds the clamping jaws (7, 8) together when the spring band clip is opened, the clamp (10) is connected to the connecting body (4 a ) by a connecting member (18) which permits the clamp (10) to pivot away from the clamping jaws (7, 8) but which prevents it from being lost. |
