<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fine particles having specific average and maximum particle diameter and uniformly dispersed into a binder having a specific solubility parameter and capable of providing stencil printing ink having good storage stability. CONSTITUTION: These polymer fine particles for stencil are obtained by reacting coconut oil fatty acid with trimethylolpropane, pentaerythritol and phthalic anhydride, etc., to prepare an alkydpolyol, adding pigment (e.g. copper phthalocyanine blue pigment) and toluene thereto, kneading these components using three rolls, adding a polyisocyanate such as hexamethylene diisocyanate and toluene thereto to afford an organic phase, mixing the organic phase with a water phase containing a partially saponified material of polyvinyl alcohol, dispersing the organic phase by a high pressure homogenizer, further, adding an aqueous solution of ethylenediamine to the dispersion and mixing the dispersion with the aqueous solution under heating and uniformly dispersing into a polymer for binder having <=11.0 average particle diameter. The polymer fine particles have 0.1-10μm average particle diameter and <=50μm maximum particle diameter.</p> |
