PURPOSE: To enhance the feeling of high quality by reducing the wind noise around a door mirror. CONSTITUTION: The shape of a curved surface of the pivot side peripheral edge 1a of a door mirror body 1 is formed into the shape where a tangent L3 of the point (a) of intersection of the curved surface and a center line L1 in thickness passing through a pivot point P of the door mirror body 1, is opened across the width of the car body toward the rear of the car body at sweepback anglesθof 5 to 25 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis L2 of the car body. Thus, the rate of sound energy becomes 50% or less, and the wind noise around the door mirror is hardly sensible to the occupants.
