PURPOSE: To provide a means allowing one person to accurately and efficiently set the car upper section riding position in an elevator system. CONSTITUTION: A car position setting key hole 22 is provided near an unlocking key hole 20. An unlocker inserted into the key holes is divided into a fork: a car position setting unlocker and a releasing unlocker, the releasing unlocker is inserted into the unlocking key hole 20, and the car position setting unlocker is inserted into the car position setting key hole 22. When the releasing unlocker is inserted into the unlocking key hole 20, an unlocking rod 19 is pushed up to release the meshing between a lock latch assembly 15 and a latch 16. When the car position setting unlocker is inserted into the car position setting key hole 22, a start switch 23 is turned on, and an elevator is operated so that the car upper section coincides with a landing. |
