PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a trouble inherent to a torque converter, having a lockup mechanism, by integrally forming a lockup member and a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A turbine 102 is fixed to a lockup piston 105 and by integrally forming the turbine 102 and the rotational outer peripheral part of a lockup member in such a way to couple theretogether, an unbalance pressure difference due to rotation of the inside of a torque converter is reduced, a problem on operability of the lockup piston and lockup drag are dissolved and meanwhile the occurrence of a turbine deformation problem is reduced. Further, the number of the parts of the torque converter is reduced and space efficiency is improved. |
