PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a steel hinge to reduce manhour for mounting a cover by providing a first hinge constituting part and a second hinge constituting part on a lower frame member of a front wall opening of a box body and on a side frame member at the lower edge of the cover, respectively so that both the hinge constituting parts are combined to mount the cover in a pivotal manner. CONSTITUTION: In order to mount a cover 3 to a lower frame member 11 of a front wall opening 2 of an article storage case 1 so as to be opened and closed, a second hinge constituting part 22 provided on a frame member 21 of the cover 3 is fitted from above into a recess 19 of a first hinge constituting part 12 of the member 11. And when an article is put into the case 1, by outwardly pulling the cover 3 which is closed, a convex part 24 of a lower protrusion 23 of the part 22 moves along a guide surface 14a having arcuate cross section inside an upward facing protrusion 14 on the side of the part 12 of the member 11, and the cover 3 pivots on an end surface 27 having arcuate cross section at the end of an outward protrusion 26 of the part 22 so that the cover 3 is opened to the outside of the case 1 to open the opening 2. |
