PURPOSE: To normally hold a differential function, both differential limit functions of one being torque-sensitive type and the other being a speed-sensitive type, and durability for a long period by providing a magnet to attract and remove magnetic power in oil at a pocket part to internally wrap each gear formed at a differential case. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical space 69 and oil flow passages 71 and 73 are formed in a pocket part 25, and a magnetic 75 is fixed at the left end part of a space 69, Wear powder, such as iron powder, generated at the engaging part of each gear and a slide part, is diffused in oil but when oil is circulated through a pocket part 25 and passes through a space 69, the wear powder is attracted to a magnet 75 for removal. Further, when an accumulator 77 is operated, oil is pushed in the direction of the magnet 75 by a piston 83 and wear powder in oil is attracted to the magnet 75 for removal. During a time in which pump operation is effected, oil is stored in the space 69. During the storage in the space, a magnetic force is exerted on the wear powder which is moved through the oil and attracted to the magnet 75.
