PURPOSE: To provide a heat-insulating cup with good cup release. CONSTITUTION: A protective cover 20 is adhered to cover an entire external face of a cup body 12 having a side wall 14 and a bottom. An internal face of the side wall 14 is coated by a polyethylene film 13 having a thickness of 20 to 60μm with its surface mat-finished. Average coarseness among ten points of the polyethylene film 13 is 10 to 30μm, while it is set to 60% or less of the thickness of the polyethylene film 13. The protective cover 20 includes an embossed sheet and a liner sheet covering the embossed sheet, while an external face of the liner sheet is coated by a varnish layer having a smooth surface.
