PURPOSE: To provide a hologram forming device which can form a hologram easily at low cost and allows recording of the hologram on various kinds of recording media. CONSTITUTION: A recording medium 1 and an ink sheet 2 are set on a stainless drum 3 as the ink sheet 2 is laid on top of the medium 1. A laser beam 7 the irradiation of which is made from an optical head 5 is controlled to be focused on an optimum in-depth position within the ink sheet, and the optical head 5 is placed on a slide stage 8 and moved horizontally by a ball spring 10 rotated by a stepping motor 9. The drum 3 is rotated by a DC motor 11. The medium 1 comprises a plastic base and a sublimation dye image layer applied to the surface of the base, and the ink sheet 2 comprises a base film and an ink layer containing a laser beam absorber which generates heat by absorbing the laser beam focused via an optical system and which is used for heat transferring and recording hologram information onto the medium 1. |
