PURPOSE: To obtain a navigation system in which voice, graphic or character data, as well as the positional information from a GPS receiver, can be ex changed between first and second moving bodies, e.g. automobiles. CONSTITUTION: Two automobiles 7A, 7B mounting GPS receivers 2A, 2B, respectively, are provided with receivers 8A, 8B for exchanging the positional information received by the GPS receivers 2A, 2B. The automobiles 7A, 7B are further provided with units 10A, 10B for inputted information other than the positional information, transmitters 11A, 11B for transmitting other information to other vehicle, receivers 13A, 13B for receiving other information, and control circuits 15A, 15B for controlling the transmission/reception of information to/from the receivers 13A, 13B and the input units 10A, 10B and displaying the information on displays 5A, 5B. With such constitution, message information can be exchanged and displayed in addition to the positional information. |
