PURPOSE: To obtain an effect capable of quickly counting a stripe pattern by providing a microscope, a photosensor and a counter which relatively move with a measuring object in order to measure plural stripes. CONSTITUTION: A stripe counting device not only counts the number of carbon stripes but also can measure a distance between adjacent stripes. Therefor, the device is provided with a CCD camera 16 which is added to an autofocus microscope 4 and photographs a carbon stripe image, an image processor 20, a computer 24 and a sequencer 26. The image processor 20 measures a stripe width by receiving a video signal of the carbon stripes. The computer 24 is provided with the sequencer 26 to store width dimension data by receiving stripe width dimension data 22. Microscope position control data 30 is outputted to the carbon stripe counting device from the sequencer 26, and is controlled by X, Y, Z and θ control signals 32 to the autofocus microscope 4. |
