PURPOSE: To provide the image forming method and its device by which information is added to print out information with a high density without deteriorating an output image by adding the information to the print out through the application of modulation to the resolution and extracting the added information. CONSTITUTION: A trace pattern processing section 53 outputs a line number switching signal PHIMG 63 to a selector 28 based on a manufacture number code 54 including a superimposing code header sent from a CPU 14. On the other hand, image data from a line memory 20 subject to gamma correction by a gamma correction section 21 and converted into analog data by a D/A converter section 22 are subject to PWM processing at comparators 23, 24 in the unit of 600dpi or 200dpi and the selector 28 selects an image signal VDO 29 according to the PHIMG 63 and the selected signal is outputted to a laser drive section. |
