<p>PURPOSE: To improve cushioning properties and durability of a spherical joint by providing a first pipe provided with an inner spherical part and a second pipe provided with an outer curved surface part, and interposing a cushioning member having one end fixed on the first pipe and the other end fixed on the second pipe, and composed of a bladder between the inner spherical part and the outer curved surface part. CONSTITUTION: A spherical joint 10 to be provided as a vibration shutting device on the way of an exhaust pipe of an automobile in order to shut off the transmission of engine vibration to the car room through an exhaust pipe, an exhaust pipe supporting device and a floor is provided with a first pipe 11 provided with an inner spherical part 11a whose one part has the spherical shape and a second pipe 12 provided with an outer curved surface part 12a. A cushioning member 13 composed of a bladder is interposed between the inner and outer curved surface parts 11a, 12a. This bladder is composed of a material formed by perpendicularly braiding bundles in which a plurality of thin metallic wires are arranged in parallel, and the direction of the braided wires is set to the direction intersecting the spherical joint axial direction, preferably, the direction in which the wires are twisted by±45 deg. in relation to the spherical joint direction.</p> |
