PURPOSE: To supply a thin type spindle motor formed in small size to have an excellent characteristic, by solving a problem of ensuring a stable clearance between a stator winding and a rotor frame due to warping a stator, and solving a problem of an effective positioning fixing method of the stator to a printed wiring board, in the spindle motor used in various electrical equipments. CONSTITUTION: In the case of fixedly bonding a stator 5 of applying a stator winding 5 a to a printed wiring board 6, while performing positioning a through hole 6a provided on the printed wiring board and a notch 5b provided on a stator internal diametric circumference by a pin (not shown by the drawing) or the like, by press bonding the stator winding 5a and the printed wiring board 6 so as to complete fixedly fastening the stator 5 to the printed wiring board 6, a thin type spindle motor formed in a small size to have an excellent characteristics is obtained.
