FORMATION OF BARRIER RIB OF PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for forming barrier ribs capable of preventing the occurrence of defect parts which are the cause for discharge leakage. CONSTITUTION: Paste is extruded to a printing surface via printing image parts 24 from the side opposite to the printing surface by executing screen printing using a screen 20 three times, by which layers constituting the striped barrier ribs meeting the printing image parts 24 are laminated. A glass substrate 7 is thereafter moved by a distance of twice the pitch of the barrier ribs in a moving direction orthogonal with the stripe direction and is subjected to screen printing again three times in the position after the movement.
