PURPOSE: To provide a multi-address processing method improving the convenience of a facsimile store and forward exchange and correcting the unfairness of the transmission opportunity due to the difference of a transmission order. CONSTITUTION: In the multi-address processing method of a facsimile store and forward exchange having a multi-address function, a telegraphic message information cell 102 recording telegraphic message information including the total number of the destination of this telegraphic message and the number of the destination for which an originating call processing is already performed, corresponding to the telegraphic message for which a multi-address processing is requested, and a destination list table 104 recording the each destination information of this telegraphic message are prepared, the information on the destination for which the reoriginating call is required after fixed time passes of the destinations recorded in the destination list table is recorded in a reoriginating call destination table 105, the originating call is performed for the destination recorded in the reoriginating call destination table or the destination list table and the telegraphic message to be transmitted to this destination is transmitted. Because the reoriginating call processing for the destination in which the transmission of the telegraphic message is failed is executed after at least one originating call processing is performed for all the destinations of the telegraphic message, the order of originating call comes earlier to also the destination of a late order and the attaining time for the telegraphic message is shortened. |
