PURPOSE: To hinder narrowing of a margin of selection of an operation mode due to priority of the operation mode by a method wherein when an operation mode to assign cooling is inputted to an outdoor machine, all indoor machines connected to the outdoor machine are prohibited from effecting only heating operation. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor controller 2 of an outdoor machine 1 and the indoor controllers of indoor machines 3a and 3b are connected to each other through serial communication. Further, the indoor machines 3a and 3b are connected to remote controllers 5a and 5b, respectively, through serial communication. A mode switch 7 capable of inputting a cooling mode and a heating mode is arranged at the outdoor machine 1. When a cooling mode is inputted by the mode switch 7, all the indoor machines 3a and 3b connected to the outdoor machine 1 are prohibited from effecting only heating operation. This constitution suppresses narrowing of a margin of selection of an operation mode owing to priority of the operation mode. |
