PURPOSE: To provide peripheral base stations solved with the problem that call signals transmitted from the respective peripheral base stations can not speedily be synchronized and to provide a synchronizing method for them. CONSTITUTION: The peripheral base station where a GPS reception part 13 generates a GPS clock based on GPS time received from a GPS satellite 20, a UW detection part 16 detects the unique word(UW) of a call signal received from a central base station 1, a phase delay detection part 12 detects a phase delay time before the generation of the next GPS clock after the UW detection time and timing for reading the call signal from DPRAM is adjusted to become next GPS clock generation time by changing a read address on DPRAM in a phase delay correction part 11, which is equivalent to the phase delay time by a delay address generation part 17, and the synchronizing method in the station are provided. |
