PURPOSE: To provide a resting method and a testing apparatus of protective relay which can realize a single-line grounding test and a double-line grounding test assuring a higher working efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An input means provided has a function to set various values such as frequency, phase voltage value under the normal operation, a zero-phase voltage value when single-line grounding fault is simulated, voltage value for fault line when a double-line grounding fault is simulated and sweep time from the normal operation to the fault condition in the sweep operation and a switching function to snitch the single-line grounding test mode or the double-line grounding test mode. Moreover, also provided are a control arithmetic operation means 4 having the means for detecting an amplitude value and phase value of each phase-voltage at each time changing to the fault condition from the normal condition in each fault condition and sweep operation based on the information instructed from the input means 5 and response of protection relays 3a to 3c and applying means 1a to 1c, 2a to 2c to respectively apply the voltage having the frequency, amplitude and phase instructed from the control arithmetic means 4 to the corresponding protection relays 3a to 3c. |
