PURPOSE: To reduce the collation time when data set from a control panel to a controlled panel are collated periodically in a communication equipment. CONSTITUTION: A control panel 100 calculates a check sum of data of a memory section 110 and sends the arithmetic result (check sum data) to a controlled panel 200. A check sum of a memory section 210 in the controlled panel is calculated, the result of arithmetic operation and the arithmetic operation of the check sum sent from the control panel are compared and the result of comparison is sent to the control panel. The control panel discriminates the comparison result and when it is normal, a collation procedure is executed again after lapse of a prescribed time. Moreover, when the discrimination result depicts an abnormal state, data of the memory section 110 are sent again to the controlled panel and set to the memory section 210. |
