PURPOSE: To prevent the bias load from being added to a bearing rolled on the copying guide of the copying mechanism of a probe holder or the copying guide. CONSTITUTION: In this ultrasonic flaw detector, while an electric resistance welded tube 16 is longitudinally moved just after welded in a manufacturing line for minor diameter electric resistance welded tube, a flaw detection is performed for an electric resistance welded part by angle beam incidence with the welded part between within a flaw detecting water tank 2. Clamp rollers 17, 17a opened and closed through link mechanisms by a driving mechanism for centering and clamping a material to be inspected are provided in the flaw detecting water tank 2, rotating fixed cores concentric to the material to be inspected are provided on the inlet and outlet sides of the flaw detecting water tank 2, and the U-shaped extended plates 29, 29a of fixing plates 19, 19a for probe holders 18 are fitted to the copying discs 28, 28a of the rotating fixed cores to copy them. |
