Arrangement in a suction system, which comprises a central unit (1) provided with regulation and control equipment; a suction tube system (3) provided with supply connections (2) and consisting of trunk tubing (4) and branch tubes (5) for each supply connection; and a suction unit (6) designed to create a negative pressure in the suction tube system. One end of the trunk tubing (4) is provided with a controllable valve (7) so that the trunk tube can be flushed periodically with a large amount of air supplied through the valve.
