A method of and apparatus for forming a continuous structure (74) is provided. A pool (85) of a resin forming material and additive particles is formed on blankets (60, 75) while the blankets (60, 75) are moved over an elongated arcuate surface (58, 59) disposed in a preselected orientation. The leading edge of the structure (74) is grasped (70) and advanced over a horizontal supporting surface (68). The structure is cut (80) into a preselected length and placed into a final configuration while flexible and adhesive. |
