In a process for the prepn. and emplacement (esp. by spraying) of building materials contg. a binding medium (esp. fast-acting self-hardening cement), a desired quantity or quantity per unit time of the binding medium is measured into or onto the conveying element of a conveying system to form a layer, and a component (e.g. sand, gravel, or a mixt. thereof) contg. residual or natural moisture is added without disturbance or mixing with the binding medium at a different, pref. later time, shortly or immediately before the addition of a gas (esp. air) which is used to transport and spray the mixt.. Also claimed are an appts. for the prepn. and emplacement of such materials, and the use of the process and / or the appts.
