Endoscopic instrument with flushing passage

The endoscope has an inner stem (11) accommodating a lens. There is a space between it and the outer stem (16). Openings in the distal end of the latter connect the space to the surroundings, the inner stem forming the feed passage for flushing liquid and to space the discharge passage. One or more drillings (20) at the inner stem distal end connect it to the space (17). Their cross-section is appreciably less than the total cross-section of the openings (18) in the outer stem.
