<p>PURPOSE: To provide a head which is improved in durability and is reduced in cost in spite of a high design value and a process for production thereof. CONSTITUTION: This golf club head is obtd. by forming a film 1b consisting of a nitride of titanium, etc., on the front surface of a head body 1a of a metallic golf club head 1 by a PVD method. The surface hardness of the head 1 is, therefore, enhanced, the carry is increased and the durability of the head 1 is improved.</p> |
