PURPOSE: To provide a steering wheel by which installing workability of an air bag device can be improved. CONSTITUTION: In a steering wheel, an air bag device 19 which is composed of an air bag 15 in a folded-up condition and an inflator 17 and in which a horn pad part 21 is arranged just above it is arranged above a boss plate 13 in a boss part 11 of a central part, and a membrane switch 23 electrically continued by a press is arranged just under the horn pad part 21. In the constitution to be installed by forming an air bag device 19 and the membrane switch 23 into a sub-collective part, the air bag device 19 is an air bag hugging holding member 25 to engage with it on the reverse side by striding over the air bag 15 capable of maintaining a folded-up condition, and a ceiling wall of the air bag hugging holding member 25 has a rupture expected part 27, and the membrane switch 23 is integrally formed almost over the whole surface by avoiding the rupture expected part 27. |
