PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive compsn. for a flooring material which has such a long pot life as to maintain an initial adhesion strength for a long time even without using a pot life extender, can exhibit a tight adhesion with the lapse of time after bonding, and does not cause floor creaking. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises (1) 100 pts.wt. copolymer of anα-olefin with an unsatd. carboxylic acid (deriv.) or a neutralization product of this copolymer, (2) 10-300 pts.wt. (in terms of solid) aq. synthetic resin emulsion, and (3) 10-500 pts.wt. inorg. filler.
