PRODUCTION OF TISSUE-CULTURED INACTIVATED VACCINE FOR CHICKEN

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject vaccine not producing an antibody reacting with an agglutinative antibody for the diagnosis of mycoplasma to interfere the diagnosis, by subjecting a virus to a tissue culture using a bovine serum from whichα2 -macroglobulin and IgM are removed. CONSTITUTION: The attenuated strain of a virus such as an avian infectious Fabricius bursa disease virus(IBDV) or avian reovirus(ARV) and an avian germ- line cell are inoculated on a bovine serum from whichα2 -macroglobulin and IgM(immunoglobulin M) are removed by a polyethylene glycol precipitation method, an ammonim sulfate salting-out method or an affinity chromatography, and subsequently subjected to a tissue culture. The obtained virus solution is mixed with an adjuvant such as aluminum hydroxide to obtain the objective inactivated vaccine not inducing the production of a non-specific agglutinative antibody against an agglutinative antigen for diagnosing Mycoplasma galliseptium(Mg) or Ms, and not interfering the correct diagnosis of Mg and Ms infections.
