PURPOSE: To provide the cap of a writing instrument or a pen type container required for the sealability of the instrument such as a marking pen or a ballpoint pen or a pen type cosmetic container and a method for regulating the engaging force of the cap for suitably regulating the engaging force of the cap. CONSTITUTION: In a cap 10 detachable at the barrel 21 of a pen type container 20, the inner surface of the cap 10 is coated with high polymeric dimethyl polysiloxane having a viscosity at 20 deg.C of 300,000 to 1,000,000sc. In order to regulate the engaging force of the cap 10 detachably by a push engaging type to the barrel 21 of the cap 10 of the container 20, the inner surface of the cap 10 is coated with high polymeric dimethyl polysiloxane having a viscosity of 300,000 to 1,000,000cs at 20 deg.C. |
