PURPOSE: To shorten a time performing adjustment so that overlay data and text data are not subjected to overlap display or overlap printing to a large extent. CONSTITUTION: Overlay data 26b and text data 26c are read in a memory region and the sizes of them are operated to be compared with each other and, when the text data 26c is larger than the overlay data 26b, operation is performed so that a non-overlap area becomes smallest. The text data 26c is moved so as to be matched with the left or right end and upper or lower end of the overlay data 26b to be positionally set with respect to the overlay data 26b. |
