Aeration process consists of propelling the liquid (20) radially from a point inside the tank (2) to create a curved spray (3) which is broken up on contact with a surrounding grille (4). The spray is produced by a turbine (8) driven by a motor (6) mounted on a float (7) and equipped with a deflector (5) in the shape of a truncated conical duct with its intake adjacent to the output from the turbine and having an inclined lower surface. The floating spray generator can be equipped with a mooring system in the form of a vertical mast which can slide inside a tube connected to the tank's wall.
