<p>PURPOSE: To improve the abrasion resistance of an elongated hole to be pressed against a pin of a brake pad in a disc brake device. CONSTITUTION: A brake pad 10 is constituted of a lining 15 to be brought in contact with the side surface of a disc, and a plate 16 for supporting it. Elongated holes 17 are formed on the plate 16 so as to be slightly displaced and moved in the rotating direction of the disc in relation to pins 12, and the pins provided on a brake main body are inserted through the elongated holes 17. Both ends 18b of the spring 18 are placed on the pins 12, the engaging part 18a formed in the center part is engaged with a lower edge of the brake part 10, so as to energize the lower edges 17a of the elongated holes 17 and the pins 12 so that they are mutually pressed. The elongated holes 17 are eccentrically formed so that the axes in the longitudinal direction may diagonally intersect the tangential direction of the disc intersecting the center line C of the brake pad 10.</p> |
