LAMINATE FOR SUPPORTING ITEM TO BE GROUND AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To provide a glass non-woven cloth base epoxy resin laminate for a material supporting an item to be ground which can position the material supporting the item to be ground with good accuracy on an automatic grinding line. CONSTITUTION: In a laminate formed by overlapping given numbers of prepregs formed by impregnating a glass woven cloth with epoxy resin and drying and heat and pressure molded integrally, a colored layer of light impermeability is formed on the whole or a part of the laminate. For example, a light impermeable colored resin is applied on the surfaces of the whole or a part of prepregs to carry out heat and pressure molding and manufacture the laminate. As another manufacuring process, prepregs provided by impregnating the glass woven cloth with epoxy resin and drying are heat and pressure molded integrally with color resin films of light impermeability used as inner layers.
