PURPOSE: To provide a jig for diffusion welding of metallic materials capable of drastically reducing thermal expansion in heat treatment and that is very small in heat capacity. CONSTITUTION: The jig consists of a pair of holding members 31 for holding the bodies 21, 23 to be joined by diffusion welding and a connecting member 33 for connecting the holding members 31, and at least the connecting member 33 is formed of carbon composite material. In addition, a carburization inhibitor 35 is applied on the contact part of the holding members 31 with the body 23 to be joined by diffusion welding. Further, the connecting member 33 is so constituted that a notch 33b is formed on the outer circumference of a semi- cylindrical main body 33a. |
