The machine unwinds the film (1) from a supply reel (2) around rollers (3-8) and into a reshaping device (10) which forms a tube (11) for longitudinal and transverse welding (12,13) and cutting (14). The film transport (17) working against a filling tube (16) comprises two feeds (18,19) which can be driven at different speeds or pressures by independent drives (20,21). The pressure equaliser (38) may incorporate a scissors mechanism (49) with the points coupled to the axes of the respective feeds.
