Automobile central locking system

The central locking system uses a boot compartment lock (1) which has a single locking element (1b), operated by a remote-control locking device (4), or by a manually-operated key. The locking element can be moved into the open position by the remote-control locking device when the key is in the locked position, but is prevented from being unlocked by the key when the remote-control device is in the locked condition. Pref. the locking element is operated by a pneumatic control device (3).
