<p>PURPOSE:To securely display address information such as program numbers, etc., by rewinding a tape-like recording medium at the time of initially reproducing this loaded recording medium, detecting a prescribed subcode signal and resuming afterward the reproducing. CONSTITUTION:The state of a switch 25 for the existence of a cassette is always detected by a system controller 26, and a cassette tape exchange is decided at the time when the switch 25 is even once turned off and again on. When an operation key such as a reproducing mode, etc., is inputted under the above state, after loading completion of the cassette or tape 14, a reel driving circuit 32 is once controlled and the tape 14 is fed to the rewinding side while the presence of program start signals S1-S4 is detected. The program numbers 1-3 obtained when the presence of the program start signals S1-S4 is detected by this rewinding is detected and then automatically shifted to a mode corresponding to an operation key such as reproducing mode, etc. By this method, even when a tape loading position is varied, the address information such as accurate program numbers, etc., can securely be displayed.</p> |
