PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of operation efficiency and the waste of renewal parts caused by uncollected exchanging work and to prevent developer from scattering in the case of exchanging the parts by exchanging the renewal parts in the case of the exchange of the developer for replenishment occurring at about the same time when the renewal parts for the image producing are exchanged. CONSTITUTION: A count value is added in every copying processing so as to be used for deciding next exchange term. In this case, for example, the number of copyings is utilized as the counter value. The count value expresses the value when the exchange terms for such renewal parts for the image producing, for example, an image carrier 1, an electrifying roller 2, each parts constituting a developing device, a transferring member 5, a separating member 6, and a cleaning member 7 have come, that is, the life of respective renewal parts. The renewal parts are exchanged all together with the exchange of a next developer replenishment container, so that exchange operation is performed by the coincidence of the respective renewal parts. Thus, the time for the exchange of the developer for replenishment is superposed on the exchange term of the exchange parts whose life is over. |
